We did a super short trip nearby and a friend told us about the fame of this bakery so we decide to stop by... we ended up buying several of their bread (pan dulce) including their Polvorones (I'm assuming it's their signature since they have it as their name), we couldn't resist either the "bolillos" which were just made. As Mexicans who know about sweet breads, we totally approve this place (we started eating in the car/parking lot) so, whenever we do another trip nearby we'll stop by this bakery and maybe next time we'll try the food (this was a quick trip and we needed to head back home). The employees are super friendly and their service was EXCELLENT. The local is clean and even tho is small there's good space.

I can't say enough good things about Don Polvoron Bakery. Their cakes are absolutely delicious and always beautifully decorated. While I've only ordered a few times, every experience has exceeded my expectations. The freshness and exquisite taste of their cakes truly stands out.

At every party, my guests rave about how amazing the cakes taste and often come back for seconds. Over the past few months I've ordered tres leches cake for my daughter's 21st birthday, a marble cake for my granddaughter's birthday and a strawberry cake for my daughter's 17th birthday. I'm not a big fan of strawberry cake, but I was blown away by how delicious theirs was.

I'm already planning to order another cake for my grandson's birthday. I highly recommend Don Polvoron Bakery to anyone looking for outstanding cakes.

All five stars! Visiting friends from Hayward Highland and were recommended this breakfast place. They are now better friends because of this 😂 along with having delicious bread that made for a delicious dessert after also taking the tortas de jamón to go.
